Description

This is my first attempt of a case for the NerdOctaxe including the PSU inside. My intention to design this case were mainly to provide a silent active cooling solution for the PSU and to hide it inside a case.

It is designed to be build with the following parts:

  • PCB
  • PSU Meanwell UHP-350-12
  • 2x 92mm PWM-Fans (14-15mm height), 2x Y-Splitters and if needed some extensioncables
  • Powerentry module C14 with fuse and switch (case-opening 27x47mm)
  • 2 Sidepanels (can be found on my profile)
  • M3 threaded inserts and M3 screws (I used some cheapo nylon set - works just fine)
  • Suitable cables and connectors

DISCLAIMER:

This build is not perfect yet but for me now just working as I intented it to do.  Any suggestions or ideas to improve the design and printability are very welcome!

This build involves working with electrical components, including parts that carry mains voltage. Handling mains voltage can be dangerous and may result in fire, serious injury, electric shock, or death if performed improperly.
