Description

Medium-duty ambulance ready to add to your fleet.

This Navistar 4900 ambulance features a 173" body to meet all of your medical team's needs.  Designed in 1/25 scale, this chassis features the typical 19.5 inch wheels you'd find on any medium duty ambulance.

I have included a step-by-step assembly guide for this build.

Just like the fire truck build, you can find some parts that can be printed on a resin printer for better detail.  You can print the Whelen 900 series and 700 series lights in your favorite filament.  I recommend 4 mm square gems for the taillights (see instructions).

Update 3/3/2026: Adjusted the cab size and ride height to better reflect the ambulance stance.  Changed the steering wheel to a two-piece print for better results.  Closed the gap on the ambulance front wall to better fit against the locator stubs on the frame.  Added a separate cab print profile for a Textured base plate for those that don't have a smooth base plate.
