Meet Birthday Benny – the celebratory edition of the Cozy Teddy Bear Collection 🎂
Wearing a party hat and sitting proudly behind his birthday cake, Benny is ready to celebrate in the coziest way possible. His rounded shapes and soft sculpted features keep the signature plush-like look of the collection, while the cake and candles add a joyful storytelling element.
The candle pieces are printed separately, allowing you to choose how many candles to use depending on the birthday being celebrated. The cake is designed to hold up to five candles, making it perfect for customizable birthday displays. You have to glue the candles on the birthday cake.
The fuzzy skin effect enhances the teddy texture while maintaining a clean, print-friendly silhouette.
Benny stands approximately 110 mm tall. Upscaling works beautifully if you’d like a larger decorative piece. Downsizing below is not recommended, as smaller scales may reduce detail definition and affect clean colour separation.
🖨️ Fuzzy Skin Settings
If you are not using the provided ready-to-print 3MF file, make sure to enable Fuzzy Skin in your slicer:
Fuzzy Skin Thickness: 0.2 mm
Fuzzy Skin Point Distance: 0.8 mm
These settings create the soft teddy-like texture and are essential for achieving the intended cozy finish.
⚠️ Important:
Modifier is applied to disable Fuzzy Skin on the cake. These elements should remain smooth for proper color contrast.
Also the candles are smooth.
If slicing manually, enable Fuzzy Skin for the bear only and disable it for the cake and candle(s).

For my multicolour models: if you are printing with a single extruder printer, you may see a significant amount of filament waste. This is not caused by the model itself, but by the way colour changes work with this type of printing system.
If you want to reduce the waste, you can:
- print multiple copies of the same model on one plate
- print several models from the same collection on one plate
- reduce the number of colours or print the model in a single colour
