Description

Overlapping Multiboard: connector for joining multiple panels into one larger board.

Designed for a secure fit, easy printing, and quick assembly.

Multiboard panels are typically connected using large, bulky connectors. These redesigned panels, however, can be screwed directly together to form one single, larger panel. This is a remix of the original panel design.

This approach offers several advantages:

  • If you have a small printer (such as the Bambu Lab A1 mini), you can cover large wall sections without wasting material on oversized connectors.
  • You don’t need separate multiboard connectors to join the panels.
  • The combined larger panel can span empty areas, meaning you don’t need a large-format printer to achieve a big surface.
  • It reduces the number of holes required in the wall, since you can position mounting screws exactly where needed (M2 screws can be used through the connecting bolts).
  • The final result has a cleaner, more seamless appearance.
