Description
đ Organize Your Workspace Like a Pro! đ
Stop settling for fixed-size bins! This Modular Grid Organizer is a fully parametric system designed to fit your tools, hardware, or craft supplies perfectly. Whether you need a small desktop tray or a massive wall-mounted storage wall, this system adapts to you.
đ§ Smart Design Features & Two Generator Modes
To give you maximum flexibility, this system includes two separate parametric generators depending on your storage needs:
- Generator A (Single Bin Base): Creates a grid optimized for Single Bins. Perfect for small hardware, electronic components, or stationery.
- Generator B (Double Bin Base): Creates a wider grid optimized for Double Bins. Ideal for larger tools, cables, or bulkier items.
- Modular Linking: Both types can be connected using dedicated connectors and a simple piece of 1.75mm filament as a pin for a rock-solid bond.
- Smart Bins & Dividers: Each bin (Single or Double) features a slot for a removable divider, allowing you to double your storage capacity instantly!
- Versatile Mounting:
- IKEA SKADIS: Precision-calculated slots for my custom twist-lock hooks.
- Wall Mount: Pre-designed screw holes for a permanent setup.
- Desktop: Clean, flat-bottom design for workbench use.
Assembly instructions

đ How to Customize - its easy âŚÂ
- Choose your Base: choose the "Single Grid" or "Double Grid" parametric file
- Set Dimensions: Define the number of rows (vertical) and columns (horizontal).
- Set Roof parameter: if you want solid roof or not.
- Print Bins: Use the corresponding print profiles for Single or Double bins.
- Label it: Use the included label profile to keep everything organized.
â ď¸ Important Mounting Note
Each individual organizer is calculated to fit the IKEA Skadis hole pattern perfectly using the twist-lock hooks. However, if you link multiple units together, the overall spacing might shift slightly away from the Skadis grid. For the most secure fit on Skadis, I recommend mounting each main unit with its own hooks rather than linking them into one giant block first.
đ ď¸ Printing Tip for Perfect Assembly
Important for Connecting Units: To ensure the side slots for linking multiple organizers are clean and functional, I highly recommend using Manual Supports with the "Snug" style. This type of support is easy to remove and guarantees that the internal geometry for the connectors remains precise.
