Baby Gate Swing Stop

This is a replacement gate swing stopper for Summer Infant brand baby gate (example). When installed, it allows the gate to open in only one direction, commonly used for top‑of‑stairs installations. It also makes the gate easier to close because it hits the stop instead of continuing to swing open to the other side.

Required parts:

• 2 M3x18mm machine screws
• 2 M3x16mm machine screws
• 4 M3 lock nuts (preferred), or hex nuts

Recommended print settings (tested):

• Auto tree supports
• 10 wall loops
• 10 top and bottom shell layers
• 0.5mm X-Y hole compensation (makes screws and nuts fit more easily)

Tested in black PLA with socket head M3 screws and nylon lock nuts. Performance and strength are as good as the original injection-molded part. It blends in perfectly with the existing plastic hardware.

Must enable supports, which will require several minutes of removal post-print.
