Yamaha Aerox 50 Wheel Cap Cover (2 STYLES)

This is a refined rear wheel cap specifically designed for the Yamaha Aerox 50/100. Based on a Thingiverse foundation, I have updated the geometry to improve both the aesthetic and the structural integrity of the part.

 

Key Features & Design Updates

• Two Styles Included: Choose between a sleek Yamaha Logo version or a clean Blank version. (i might add more soon)
• Reinforced Fitment: I have added a hexagonal indent to the rear of the model. This modification assists with alignment during installation and provides extra structural rigidity.
• Single Unit: This model is designed specifically for the rear wheel; only one print is required.

Print Settings & Orientation

• Logo Version: If you are using a standard FDM printer, I recommend slightly tilting the orientation or using a finer layer height for the logo face to ensure the branding details are crisp and well-defined.
• Supports: Depending on your orientation, minimal supports may be required for the hexagonal recess.

Important Material Warning

Because this component is mounted on the rear wheel, it will be in close proximity to the exhaust.

• Recommended: PETG, ABS, or ASA. These materials have a higher glass transition temperature and will better withstand the heat and vibrations of the bike.
• PLA: While PLA is fine for checking fitment, it is not recommended for permanent use as it may soften or warp due to exhaust heat and UV exposure.
