Description

After a few requests, this model is now on Etsy for those who don't want to/ or can't print it.  Message me if you're interested.

Adapters that connect to the existing hose on your Midea Duo and split it into two separate 6 inch (150mm) hoses.  The sizing is meant to work with standard 6 inch dryer duct type ventilation hoses.

Setup:

  • The exhaust adapter twists on and locks in place — no additional sealing needed.
  • The intake adapter snaps in but isn't airtight on its own. Use tape or gasket material to seal it. It works without tape, but you'll lose some efficiency pulling in room air.
  • PETG is highly recommended over PLA

Design notes:

  • The intake seal is intentionally left up to you. Mine lives in the garage and the duct tape gives it character.
  • A few people have commented or messaged asking about running the ducts under a garage door.  I added several sizes of transition pieces to convert from a 6 inch round duct to flat duct.  They are listed under ‘Download STL/CAD Files'.  Consider these untested prototypes until someone posts a print of them.  I highly recommend printing the largest duct you can to minimize airflow restrictions.

Open to posting shorter versions, different duct sizes, etc. — leave a comment and let me know what you need.

Feel free to comment with any feedback or requests.  I do this for fun, but I don't mind remixing a model if I can make it more useful.
