Steel City 40100 Planer T2-51 Bevel Gear

Replacement bevel gear for the Steel City 40100 planer, Part T2-51. This gear is part of the drive train and transfers rotational motion between the intersecting shafts for height adjustment.

• Optimal choice would be to use a metal 3D printing service and have them done in aluminum

• 5 to 6 perimeters minimum

• 100 percent infill

• 0.08 mm layer height

• Supports enabled

• Slow outer wall speed for improved tooth accuracy

Post Processing

• Lightly deburr teeth

• Check backlash and smooth rotation before full operation

• Lubricate appropriately
