I designed this mechanical paradox for fun. I like mechanics, physics, engineering.... I think this model is a very good representation of the force of gravity. I am passionate about these models, by printing it you can show it to your children, for them it will seem something magical, almost a magic trick. I have created a print profile with all the settings already set. I printed with the a1 mini, I created this model so small that it can also be printed with small printing plates.
- I printed the frame with the part where the cones slide facing downwards, in this way the surface will be nice and smooth, facilitating sliding and avoiding friction.
- For the frame I also used brim, as the contact surface between the model and the platter is minimal. With brim you prevent the model from deforming during printing or even detaching
- The two cones are joined by a cylinder that must be inserted inside, they must be printed with at least 80% filling, the greater weight will make the project work better. I used it as a gyriode plot.
- I printed everything in petg, this material for me has a very good aesthetic result and is smoother than pla.
I hope you like it, if you print it I would appreciate a comment or a recension, thanks. :)
