Description

This is a simple 3D-printable 9-Hole Pegboard designed for the Nine-Hole Peg Test (9HPT), a common test used to measure hand dexterity and fine motor coordination. The model is intended for practice, demonstration, and general dexterity benchmarking.

Dimensions

  • Board: 9 holes
  • Hole diameter: 10 mm
  • Hole depth: 15 mm
  • Peg size: 7 mm diameter × 32 mm length
  • Hole spacing: based on standard 9HPT layouts (commonly 32 mm or 50 mm depending on protocol)
  • Peg container: can be printed as a separate tray or integrated beside the board

How to Use

  1. Place all 9 pegs in the container.
  2. Start the timer when the user touches the first peg.
  3. Insert all pegs into the board, one by one, using the hand being tested.
  4. Remove the pegs one by one and return them to the container.
  5. Stop the timer when the last peg is back in the container.

Notes

  • This model is meant for functional testing/practice and educational use.
  • Print tolerance may vary by printer, so you may need to slightly scale pegs or holes for the best fit.
