Description
Stackable Box Maxima for the A1 mini print bed
Without AMS and supports. Color change only by swapping the filament.
I was looking for a stackable box that could be produced on the small print bed of the Bambu A1 mini. I needed a small stackable box for all the small items you need for a 3D printer. Since the whole thing stands next to the desk, it should become a small “drawer cabinet”. So I designed one.
This stackable box can be extended in height as desired. I only have it on the table, but I have provided holes for fastening. However, I have never tried these.
There are three different heights of boxes: 20 / 40 / 60 mm.
The boxes stand in small garages that can be stacked on top of each other as desired. The garage has recesses at the bottom and tabs at the top. The tab is inserted into the recess of the unit above.
There is a lid and a base to close off the stacking units at the top and bottom.
I printed everything in well-dried PLA from various manufacturers. Please let all models cool down well (shrinkage) and then deburr the recesses and tabs a bit. They all slid into each other with light pressure for me without lubricant :-)
Always thread the tabs first one after another and then press them in vertically piece by piece.
They do not need to be glued; they can also be detached later and reassembled in a different order. Only pull vertically to the axis!
Because all four corners snap into place, good overall stability is achieved.
My boxes are filled with screwdrivers, pliers, knives, spare parts, printing accessories, etc. The total weight holds the box in place on the table without additional fastening.
I wish you a lot of fun with it.
