"lipstick" Flower - Mechanical Moving Petals

Kinetic mechanical flower - Custom gears system with a simple twist of the flower stem, the mechanical energy transferred to the petals, allowing them to bloom and retract with smooth and synchronized movements.

Why settle for a static flower when you can make one that actually blooms.  This interactive 3d print model, let you choose the vibrant colors for the petals and a hidden heart at its center.

How it works: Just rotate the stem to watch the petals gracefully unfold. It is perfect desk toy or “un-witing” gift for someone special.

Material: PLA 

Print : Separate the printing for the petals using support print in upright position for a smooth petal finishing.

Assemble: 

Parts: 

1.Petal x 4

2.Heart x 1

3.Center bolt x 1

4.Main body x 1

5.Secure plate x 1

6.Filament 30mm ( cut 4 piece filament 5- 6mm each )

Tools require : Cutter

Quick Guide

STEP 1: Assemble the 4 Petal to the Main body, slot and align the petal gear to the main body, use Filament to slot into the pivot hole. *use a solder to melt the two end if you want for secure purpose is fine without solder melting.

Step 2 : Slot the Center bolt into the centre of the Main body ( from the bottom), hold the petal and turn ( screw ) the Center bolt make sure Petal are in the same fully open position.Do make sure there is no gap from at the bottom ( between the Center bolt and the Main body )

Step 3 :Follow by securing the Center bolt using the Round Secure plate ( On the Top area of the Main body ).

Step 4 : Attach the Heart into the top Secure Plate ( centre hole ) . The Heart turn with the movement of the petals.

Its done!!!!!

Ideas x enhancement  * place a ring holder to replace the heart :)
