PopSocket MakerChip Adapter

Bill of Materials
Description
PopSocket + MakerChip = Magic
Does your phone have a boring PopSocket?
Despite the slew of MakerChips sitting in your drawer?
Problem, meet solution.
Make One, I Guess
No adhesive required.
Friction-fits a plain PopSocket: MagSafe or regular (affiliate links)
- Use PLA+ to give it some durability.
- Gently pry out the support material using pointy tweezers.
- It's easier to install if you first insert a MakerChip. Then, with the PopSocket resting on a flat surface, firmly press the adapter onto it. You might need to work your way around the edges.
Shameless Self-Promotion
The chips in the photos are progression tokens earned during this maker adventure. The PopSocket adapter was a brief tangent.
