Description

Fully articulated crab mech based on the 6mm ball joint system. Designed for dynamic posing and compatibility within the MiniMechs ecosystem.

Print, assemble, pose.

Assembly Guide

The crab is assembled simply by connecting the ball joints.
Only the mouth piece needs to be glued in place.

The cannon on the back is secured using a small piece of filament (cut directly from the spool) as a pin.

Print Tips
I recommend working with dried and well calibrated filament, as this model consists of many small individual parts where proper fitment is crucial.
Additionally, I recommend cleaning the build plate before printing.

Material
Since small balljoint elements tend to wear over time due to movement and friction, I recommend PETG or higher grade materials.

More MiniMechs projects are planned.

The main focus will be additional insect inspired designs, as well as other lifeforms that fit the theme, such as underwater creatures like crabs, squids, and other imaginative beings.

Good ideas and suggestions are always welcome and truly appreciated.
