Simagic Alpha Evo Adapter for Sim Lab P1X Pro
Print Profile(2)

Description
A mounting adapter used to mount a Simagic Alpha Evo wheelbase (either the Sport, base or Pro) to a Simlab P1X Pro extruded aluminum racing sim cockpit.
I've provided two printing profiles: one with tight tolerances and the second with slightly relax tolerances. I originally printed a prototype in PLA using the tight tolerances and the fitment for the notches were perfect. When I printed the final design using PETG-CF, the fitment was a little too tight and required a bit of force to slot. I recommend printing this in at least PETG, but PLA should be fine so long as something like 4+ walls and 25%+ infill is used. I printed my final design using 5 walls and 30% infill using PETG-CF with supports enabled.
This adapter reuses the 4x M8x25mm hex socket head bolts that already comes with the P1X Pro to mount it to the rig, but additional hardware is required to put the three parts together and screw on the wheelbase.
To fully mount this you will need the following hardware:
- 4x M6x25mm Hex Socket Bolts - LINK
- These are for screwing into the BOTTOM of the wheelbase.
- 4x M6x30mm Hex Socket Bolts - Included in first link
- These are for screwing into the SIDE of the wheelbase.
- M6 Washers - Included in first link
- Help spread out the mounting pressure.
- 6x M8x30mm Hex Socket Bolts - LINK
- These are for putting all three parts together.
- 6x M8 Nylon Insert Locknuts - LINK
- The receiving end of the M8 bolts.
- M8 Washers - LINK
- Help spread out the mounting pressure.
Note: The mounting holes on the Simagic Alpha Evo wheelbases are ~15mm deep, and when using the recommended bolt sizes, all 15mm will be used. However, using 8x M6x25mm bolts is okay and should be just as good.
DISCLAIMER!:
The Tight Tolerance profile is a version created as a prototype and does not have adjustments made to accommodate washers for every bolt. These changes were only made for the Relaxed Tolerance profile, but I'm sure the relaxed fit will work for everyone considering its ~0.1-0.3mm of additional tolerance. For reference, my fingernail is 0.4mm thick.
