Description
This project includes a single chain link that can be assembled into a working roller chain for demonstration and educational purposes.
Please note: this chain is not intended to replace a real metal chain. Its strength depends entirely on the strength of the filament used, so it should only be used for visual, educational, or light-duty model applications.
It works great for:
- toys and mechanical models
- educational demonstrations
- STEM projects
- busy boards and manipulative boards for children
For testing and fun, I’ve also included:
- two example sprockets: Z12 and Z20
- a base/housing for a 6000 bearing
