Summary
Want a replica of the famous Mk82 Air-Brake bomb with fins that fold up and down? Its as easy as opening/closing an umbrella, you can just push up or down and raise or lower the fins. The 1:8 scale model takes just a minute to assemble and comes with a display stand.
Note: treat the bomb like an umbrella, so reach into the fins and push up and down on the ring. Don't pull on the fins to open it up, just like how you wouldn't open and umbrella by tugging on the fabric. If you have any trouble opening the fins, reach in with your hands and flip the fins out a little to get them started before pushing up on the center ring.
What is a Snake Eye? The MK82 Snake Eye is a 500-pound low-altitude bomb equipped with special rear-mounted fins that fold out upon release to create high drag. These fins rapidly slow the bomb's descent, allowing the aircraft that dropped the bomb to safely clear the blast area before detonation.

Assembly
1. Snap the top and bottom parts of the bomb together with the provided peg.

2. Next, take one of the 4 fins and snap it into the top of the stick as shown below. Note that you should angle the fin and make sure one of the pointy pegs is inserted into the hole before snapping it into the other hole.

3. Then, use the same method to snap the thinner/skinnier end of the connector support rod into the fin as shown below:

4. After that, slide the connector ring onto the rod as you see below:

5. Then, snap the other side of the connector support rod into the ring just like you did for the fin:

Now repeat that same process to attach the other fins.
6. You can now screw the fin assembly rod into the bomb. Be sure not to over tighten.
