Mountain Dew Folding Door Box
This is the Mountain Dew version of my folding display box. I wanted to capture that high-energy, classic citrus look while keeping the mechanism just as smooth as the original. It uses the same segmented folding door system as my other designs—opening from the center and tucking away to show off the can. The structure is solid, easy to assemble, and features those precision hinge points for a satisfying snap every time you open it. The dimensions are dialed in for standard Dew cans and it's perfect as a desk piece or a gift. Just like the rest of the series, the lid is swappable if you want to use the LED-ready version for that neon glow.

⚠️ IMPORTANT QUALITY NOTE: This model was engineered specifically for steel or aluminium rods to ensure structural stability and smooth mechanical movement. Using 3D-printed plastic rods will cause the mechanism to flex, feel unstable, and likely snap over time, ruining the premium feel of the box. Use third-party plastic rod profiles at your own risk!
One's you have printed all the parts and acquired the accessories you need, just follow the assembly guide down below.
Each individual part is marked with a number, making it very easy to assemble.
