BMW RnineT Battery Box [MBYZ16H]

This cover snugly fits the battery for a 2017 RnineT Scrambler. Print in ABS or PETG.

I have made the model a solid box with an open top however I do advise to use negative modifiers in the slicer to put some holes in the bottom (right click on part>add negative part>choose whatever shape(s) you like. I myself used 6 rectangles to create a grille on the bottom surface. This makes it easier to get the battery in and out as the air can be displaced easily. 

You will need to take out the battery retention strap and re-bend it so that it fits around the battery box. If you like, you can cut the front wall off the box to make fitment easier. 

To get it in position, turn the box sideways and slot it in, then flip it up the right way once it is past the frame. I put mine in from above after removing the tank.
