These practical clip-on leg bands are the ideal solution for easily and safely marking your chickens, ducks, or other poultry. Thanks to their open design, they are easy to attach to the leg and can be removed again if necessary, without injuring the animal.

Update: The print profiles have been updated and now include sizes 6.5 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm for chick leg bands.

Features:

• Various Sizes: The set includes profiles for 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, and 20mm inner diameter.
• Flexible & Secure: The material gives slightly to facilitate application but sits firmly enough not to get lost.
• Easy Identification: Print the rings in different colors to distinguish strains, age, or individual animals at a glance.

Size Orientation (Examples):

• 12mm: Perfect for very small bantam chickens (e.g., Dwarf Welsummer, Dwarf Silkie) or larger quails.
• 14 mm: Ideal for smaller breeds, bantam chickens (e.g., Dwarf Wyandotte) or larger pigeons.
• 16 mm: Standard size for many medium chicken breeds (e.g., Leghorn, Rhineland).
• 18 mm: Suitable for larger laying breeds (e.g., Vorwerk, Marans) or ducks.
• 20 mm: For very heavy breeds (e.g., Brahma, Orpington) or geese.

Printing Recommendations:

• Material: PETG is the best choice here as it is more flexible and weather-resistant than PLA. It does not break as easily when bent open.
• Walls: 2–3 wall lines are completely sufficient.
• Infill: 100% (since the rings are very thin, they consist almost entirely of walls anyway).
• Tip: Print an entire plate in one color directly to save time!
