Description

Dust shield for the Z carriage of the A1 mini. This prevent dust from entering inside the lubrication hole on the top of the carriage.

You can use double sided tape for a better fixation.

This model only works if the Z carriage has flat head screws, unfortunately on newer A1 Mini units, they replaced them with round head screw.

An und fürsich gut nur hält es logisch nicht von alleine und für die Schrauben passen die Löcher nicht aber für die Idee 3 sterne

Hello, the 2 holes aren't design for the screws but for the two little pin on the carriage. If you want to fix the dust cover use double sided tape. I recommend you to use the smooth build plate for a better result. And for your info, ratings are for the print profile itself not the model ;)

Thanks for the feedback so the screws aren't flush with the side of the carriage? Maybe there are some variations amongst the carriage used. Could you send a picture of your carriage ?

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Indeed, it doesn't fit on newer A1M units. Unfortunately they've replaced the flat head screws with round head ones. I've updated the model description. Would you mind updating your rating? they are meant to rate the print profil, not the model itself

Thanks for the feedback. You're absolutely right, I've also noticed newer A1 mini models comes with round head screws, they were flat before. I'll add a disclaimer in the model description. Could you update your rating ? Because there are meant to rate the print profile not the model itself. Thanks

good design but too loose, Ocular Dynamic's remix has a better grip without tape https://makerworld.com/en/models/417343#profileId-319712

Thanks. I didn't print this remix but before releasing my model, I tried to add a pin to lock it in place inside the hole. I from my testing I've found this feature too weak and could eventually break inside the hole. So I preferred to release my model without any pin. So you know ;)

Printed okay, just doesn’t really attach to the printer at all.

Sorry I'm replying super late. But yes indeed, you need to use double sided tape if you want to fix it. Or if you don't mind, you can leave it on top and let the gravity do its thing (that's what I'm doing)
