Pool Skimmer Cyclone/Vortex/attachment

A pool Skimmer attachment that uses two principles: The Venturi Effect and Angular Momentum, this allows water to flow in a circular pattern and focuses a vortex into one area, using the suction from your skimmer. This allows leaves to get pulled to the bottom of your basket, doing so efficiently and quickly. The print pauses around layer 200, so please fill the bottom up with something heavy to allow the attachment to sink, otherwise it will FLOAT; Could also drill holes on the bottom to allow water to flow or cut a slit on the side: The diameter is 20.8 cm the center is 10.4cm ((Largest)) **

An upgraded vortex-powered pool skimmer — easier to print, stronger suction, no pausing required.

What's new in V2: The bottom now prints with infill, so there's no need to pause the print mid-way. Vortex power has also been significantly improved for better debris collection.

Post-print: drilling instructions After printing, you'll need to drill 4 small holes at the top of the skimmer. Refer to the reference image (red circles show the exact positions).

1. Locate the 4 marked points at the top of the skimmer.
2. Recommend a small drill bit, can use a bigger one (But be careful).

1. Apply light, steady pressure. Do not force the drill — the plastic can crack under excessive pressure.
2. Work slowly and let the drill bit do the work.

⚠️ Important: always start with a small pilot hole and use minimal pressure when drilling.
