Material: PLA or PETG 
**PLA is usually easiest to print and should work just fine for these bars, UNLESS you plan to keep these in a hot car. PLA WILL soften and deform in a hot car. PETG is a better choice and resists heat much better if that is something you can see being an issue.

🎯 How to Use - Print one of the already available models, or click customize and use the directions below.

1. Measure your canvas - Measure the length and width of your canvas. 
2. Customize the length - Use the customizer to set your desired bar length. Print bars that match your canvas size. If your canvas is 8" x 8", then print 4x 8" bars for example.
3. Print 4 bars - For a rectangular frame, print 2 bars of one length and 2 bars of another length. For a square frame, print 4 identical bars
4. Assemble - Slot the corners together to form your frame (If the fit of the bars is too tight/loose due to the specifics of your particular printer, change the tolerance under “fit adjustment” to dial it in
5. Mount your canvas - Secure your canvas with thumbtacks, just like traditional wooden bars.

🖨️ Print Settings

Recommended:

• Material: PLA or PETG **PLA is usually easiest to print and should work just fine for these bars. UNLESS you plan to keep your mounted needlepoint canvases in a hot car. PLA WILL soften and deform in a hot car. PETG is a better choice and resists heat much better if that is something you can see being an issue. 
• Layer Height: 0.2mm
• Infill: 15% (increasing will add strength, but may make pin insertion more difficult)
• Supports: None needed
• Print Orientation: Bars lying flat on the build plate

Tips:

• Print all bars for one frame in the same print job to ensure consistent dimensions
• If corners are too tight or too loose, adjust the tolerance parameter in 0.05mm increments
• For canvases larger than 16" (400mm), consider increasing infill for extra rigidity
