Supports were difficult to remove and left quite a bit of scarring. i’m pretty new so it could definitely be a Settings issue

Looks like you didn't calibrate your filament and just sent it ?? what printer , what slicer . did you slice it your self ?

Bambu studio, P1s. I had my top Z set to .275, maybe too much of a gap. Still a great print.

ya that's a huge gap and the hot plastic sagged and made it more difficult to remove . so it wasn't my profile that was the problem . and you gave it a poor score .. the model is top notch . :)

Eta: edit the pin to add a bigger brim if possible and print the pin by itself, that way if it fails it wont affect the rest of your print, also print a couple of pins at a time

Should've been an easy print but woke up to find it failed. The model isn't even arranged properly and the bottom half isn't laid flat on the bed. The pin aligned vertically is also guaranteed to fail.

I'll check the file for alignment Ty . also I have had 0 issues printing that pin the way it is , I've printed this 4 times and 0 failed pins . download the model into the slicer and hit the "lay flat to plate button" on the top toolbar of the slicer . sorry was a late night of posting . but not the end of the world , sorry to waste plastic :(

I had to drill out the holes for the pin a little bigger. I also preemptively changed the supports to tree slim and printed 3 extra pins after reading reviews. Overall wonderful model. I used 0.16 optimal and a transparent print profile I created. The filament was Sunlu Transparent Ocean Haze PLA.

can just size the pin down to 99% much easier . machine to machine flow difference makes the pin not fit . what prints great on my machine might print poorly on yours . glad you got it done ☑️
