Description

This Improved Coupler Nut is a remix of the Coupler Nut from @GunplaMark's The Ultimate Cereal Container Filament Drybox that now includes PC4-M10 Threads and a Flange for a perfect, secure fit with the PC4-M10 PTFE tube coupler.  I used the PC4-M10 Threads from @jurassic73's PC4M10 - Tapered threaded opening STEP/STL for design to get the correct pitch and taper for the PC4-M10 coupler threads - increasing the X and Y dimensions of the thread by 2% each to allow hand-tightening of the Coupler Nut to the PC4-M10 coupler.

I have also designed two Wrenches to aid in the assembly or disassembly of the coupler:

1 - The Coupler Nut (inside) Wrench wraps around the Improved Coupler Nut

2 - The Coupler (outside) Wrench wraps around the PC4-M10 coupler

The Wrenches are optional (but highly recommended) tools that make it much easier to assemble and disassemble the coupler.

I also strongly recommend using my Tag Holder for Ultimate Filament Drybox to keep the filament tag (label) attached to the drybox at all times - unless you're using @GunplaMark's extended system (where the filament tag remains attached to the upper front of the cereal box).

A special thanks to @TheReverseEng_260391 for the PC4-M10 PTFE Tube Pneumatic Fitting Model (Not for Printing) model that I used in the photorealistic renders for this design!

To allow modifications, I have provided STEP (.stp) files for the Wrenches and an STL (.stl) file for the Improved Coupler Nut.

3MF files have been provided for 1 Coupler Nut, for 6 Coupler Nuts (to match number of cereal boxes in 1 order), for the Coupler Nut (inside) Wrench, and for the Coupler (outside) Wrench.

The Coupler Nuts seen in the photos were printed with Sunlu White PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 15% gyroid infill and a random seam position.  Supports are not needed.

The Coupler Nut (inside) Wrench seen in the photos was printed with Sunlu Red PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 10% gyroid infill, 3 perimeters (outer walls) for strength, and concentric top and bottom fill pattern (not required - only to make the Wrench look nicer).  Supports are not needed.

The Coupler (outside) Wrench seen in the photos was printed with Sunlu Transparent Blue PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 10% gyroid infill, 3 perimeters (outer walls) for strength, and concentric top and bottom fill pattern (not required - only to make the Wrench look nicer).  Supports are not needed.

The PC4-M10 couplers seen in the photos are standard (widely available) PTFE tube connectors; the two brands I have used were purchased on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IB81IHG and https://www.amazon.com/StLiSuYmx-Pneumatic-Connector-Fittings-Compatible/dp/B0F62FZK4R
