[Lord of the Mysteries] Arrodes Magic Mirror - (Lord of the Mysteries - Arrodes)
Print Profile(1)

Description
👁️ “Great Master, your faithful servant Arrodes is at your service”
“Great Master, your humble servant Arrodes is at your service.”
This 3D printed model is based on Arrodes, the popular sealed artifact "0-08" from the novel "Lord of the Mysteries". I have transformed the somewhat unsettling descriptions in the book into a physical relief sculpture filled with mysterious beauty. Watching it emerge from the build plate, it feels as if it truly connects to the wilderness of knowledge and fate.
✨ Design Highlights (Design Highlights)
- Fine Texture: The back plate reproduces complex mystical-style textures and the central "one-eye" element, with rich relief details and excellent light and shadow effects.
- Split Structure: The design includes two parts: Back Plate (Back Plate) and Frame (Frame) (as shown in the figure), making it easy to print and paint separately, and also convenient for embedding mirrored material in the middle.
- Easy to Print: Layer line performance has been specifically optimized, and the model can be printed flat without complex supports, making it very friendly for FDM machines.
🖨️ Print Settings (Print Settings)
For best detail, refer to the following parameters:
- Layer Height (Layer Height): 0.12mm or 0.16mm (for the clarity of the back relief, finer is better).
- Infill (Infill): 15% - 20% is sufficient.
- Filament Recommendation (Filament): It is recommended to use Silk Silver (Silk Silver) or Bronze PLA. After printing, it will have a metallic texture, and a good finished effect can be achieved without sanding.
- Supports (Supports): No (No supports needed). The model has been designed for flat printing.
🛠️ Assembly & Post-Processing (Assembly & Post-Processing)
- Prepare Mirror Surface: You can purchase an acrylic soft mirror or glass lens that matches the inner frame size.
- Assembly: Place the lens between the back plate and the frame, and use super glue (such as 502 or E6000) to bond and fix the frame and back plate.
- Painting (Optional): If using ordinary gray/white filament, it is recommended to use acrylic paint for distressing (Washing) to deepen the color in the textured recesses and highlight the texture of an ancient artifact.
