Description

🏪 Teddy Mart: A Customizable Japanese-Inspired Book Nook

Bring a touch of cozy urban charm to your bookshelf with Teddy Mart, a modular, Japanese-inspired storefront. This book nook is designed for accessibility and customization, allowing you to create a vibrant, multi-colored scene even without an AMS or multi-material system.

🌟 Key Features

  • True Multi-Color Printing: Designed to be printed in individual parts and glued together. This allows you to swap colors for the walls, awnings, and accents to match your personal style.
  • Modular Customization: Every window, awning, and sign is a separate component, making it easy to paint or print in contrasting filaments.
  • Hidden Lighting Slot: Features an optional lower body part specifically designed to house the Bambu Wireless RGB Light. The light sits vertically, casting a warm glow through the storefront and into the interior.

📺 Watch the Design Process

The entire creation of this model—from the initial block-out to the final details like the Katakana signage—was streamed live on YouTube! You can watch the full design process in Plasticity here:

🛠️ Assembly Instructions

The build is a great kit-building experience with many individual parts. Assembly is straightforward:

  1. Foundation: Start from the bottom part and work upwards.
  2. Main Body: Glue the three main body sections together first to create a solid structure.
  3. Detailing: Once the frame is set, add your accents such as the windows, the "Teddy Mart" sign, and the blue awnings.
  4. Optional Lighting: If using the lighting-ready base, slide your Bambu Wireless RGB Light into the vertical slot to illuminate the store.
