Loading Coil for 5.2M or 18.4ft whip antenna
Print Profile(2)

Description
This is a coil I've designed to work with the cheap whip antennas that you may find on amazon, ebay or aliexpress in the $15-$30 range, though it is modular enough you should be able to get it to work with the name brand antennas as well.
You just need to insert nuts and bolts that match your current system, I designed this all for M10x1.5 but 3/8-24 nuts and bolts should fit in there as well. I used MIG wire from harbor freight, which is admittedly a pain to use for ham radio, but it's so cheap Its worth the pain.
I use this coil for Parks on the Air, and my whip that is usually quarter wave on 20M can no get me on 6M-80M well on your way to the N1CC award for 10 parks on 10 bands.
I highly recommend printing in PETG using the settings in the print profile I've uploaded. Do not use more than 30W when operating the coil on high duty cycle modes like Digital or CW, these get toasty, and while PETG is fairly good at handling the heat, it can still melt.
UPDATE: After melting another coil I have added a removable cap that reminds you (and me) to keep it under 30W
SEE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR A WALK THOUGH.

Non 3D printed parts I used
2x M10x1.5 Nuts
1x. M10x1.5 Bolt
2x Washers
1x M5 bolt
1x M5 nut
1x ring terminal connecter (I used it on the M5, if you have one that would fit on M10 that would probably be ideal, thus making this x2)
some scrap wire
MIG wire.
