Description
This is a custom-designed Winter Grille Cover specifically for the Hyundai i30(2020+). It’s designed to help the engine warm up faster in cold climates and protect the radiator from salt, debris, and freezing slush.
Features:
- Sleek Aesthetic: Includes decorative caps to hide the fasteners for a clean, "factory" look.
- Modular Design: Each side (Left/Right) is split into two parts to fit standard 3D printer beds.
- Secure Fit: Designed to be mounted directly to the original grille using standard cable ties.
Technical Specifications & Requirements:
- Fasteners: You will need 3.5mm Zip Ties (Cable Ties) for installation.
- Assembly: Each main wing consists of two pieces that need to be glued together. I recommend using a high-quality Super Glue or a plastic welder for a permanent bond.
- Finishing: After securing the plates to the grille with zip ties, simply glue the provided decorative caps over the zip tie heads to conceal them.
Printing Recommendations:
- Material: I strongly recommend using ABS or PETG. Avoid PLA, as it will warp due to engine heat and UV exposure.
