Description
Slic3D Reusable Spool – AMS-Friendly
This project is a two-piece reusable filament spool designed for Slic3D (Slic3D by Jaycar) filament, optimised for use with Bambu Lab printers and the AMS.
The spool features a rigid circular body with honeycomb cut-outs to reduce weight while maintaining strength, along with a central hub sized for smooth rotation in the AMS. The second half includes a recessed label area and embossed branding for easy identification when loaded.
Printed in PLA Black at 0.20 mm layer height, the design balances print speed, surface finish, and durability.
