Boost Me (for free)

Boost me if you love going topside!

Fits my Xbox controller, untested with other models and controllers. 5 colors, printed on H2C.  I will include an unpainted version as well.  Open on the inside so you can keeo cables connected on certain controllers. 

 

For the un-painted version that you paint yourself click on download STL and you will see the option.

I made it with filament scraps, and I was going to paint it as a gift, but I ended up liking the colors. Add compatibility with other printers. I made it on an A1 Mini

the base came out perfect, but the additional pieces to glue on the base, apart from some failure in missing a layer or something, also looked more like infill than a final layer

Please make more of these! These are amazing but for the future ones could you make some arc themed ones that are 4 color, that would be sick but I’m still gonna print this one

yeah I added a blank one you can color using the bucket tool, did you try that for 4 colors? Thanks for liking it!

I loved the Xbox version, it saves a lot of filament. I was wondering if it would be possible to use this model for a universal stand, one that would allow me to rest any controller model on it. I don't know much about modeling, so this is an honest question from a layman: would it be very difficult to make such a model?

I added a new print profile for non-H2C printing. With the "face" pieces cut off and printed flat on a separate plate, it can be done much faster when you don't have the fancy hotend-switching.
