Description

This fin is designed for D-Rock V1 / V2 / V3 and helps protect the battery from strong frontal impacts.
The goal is to add protection while keeping the part smartly optimized for weight and strength.

The model is designed to be printed using two different density zones, so you get maximum strength where needed and weight saving where possible.

🧩 Recommended Print Settings

Lower Section (Impact Zone)

  • Infill: 100%

Upper Section (Weight Optimized Zone)

  • Infill: 25%
  • Infill Pattern: Gyroid
  • Walls / Perimeters: 4 lines (instead of the usual 3)

✂️ Density Transition Height

The transition between the two print densities should be set at:

👉 12 mm from the build plate

This is especially useful if you are slicing or printing this model on different printers.
