Description

This model prints spool holders designed to fit the Sterilite 54qt / 51L bin.

The spool holders fit into the outer grove of the bin at each bottom corner.  Without any adhesive the holders are stable to moving and jostling the bin up to about a 30 degree angle.  This has worked very effective for me.   I fit 10 spools into one bin by building 2 racks.  Each rack consists of a left and right handed spool holders and two roughly 13" long pieces of 1" nominal PVC pipe (it has a 33mm OD).    So for 1 54 qt bin to hold 10 spools you need to print the print plate twice.

I then add about 400g of desiccant which lasts me about 3 months or so between recharges with regular printing.  I found this more lower cost than individual cereal boxes and more efficient than vacuum bags.

There is also a PVC humidity sensor which snaps onto the 1" PVC pipe.  This may need light sanding to fit.  It fits the common Amazon round humidity sensor.
