Description

A simple friction-fit fan shroud with customizable mounting options.

This is an 80mm fan shroud designed for easy integration into your own projects. The fan clicks in without screws or tools – just remove the rubber anti-vibration corners and insert.

Features:

  • Friction fit – Fan snaps in securely, no screws or hardware needed
  • No rubber corners required – Remove the anti-vibration pads from your fan and insert directly
  • Modular design – Attach your own custom mount for any application

My Use Case:

I use this to add active cooling to my Cirrus7 Incus (Extended Cooling Edition) passive PC case. The hook mount hangs over the top edge and blows air across the cooling fins. Dropped my CPU temps significantly under load.

Your Use Case:

The shroud is universal – design your own mount for:

  • Other PC cases
  • Electronics enclosures
  • 3D printer chambers
  • Raspberry Pi / SBC setups
  • Anywhere you need directed airflow

Use the included schematic to create brackets, clips, or stands that fit your setup.

Compatibility

  • Noctua NF-A8 (80mm)
  • Other standard 80x80x25mm fans should fit
