Description

I wanted to try making a mouthpiece that prevented me from accidentally hitting my teeth on the glass, and this is the result!

I highly recommend printing this in TPU, but you can try other materials to see how it works.

This is the first time I have ever designed a model, and although I like it in the current format, I would love feedback on how to improve it!

Is this boost-worthy? Idk I will let you try it and decide!

it didn’t fit my carta sport I used pla-cf

thanks for the input! I might need to scale it down a bit for PLA - I’ll print one in PLA when home and tweak the size

are there size differences between materials I’m new to printing I got my first printer about a month ago I did end up sanding it a little bit and it dose fit now but I’ll definitely re print it if you resize it

different materials expand differently as they cool so may have slight variances, but the bigger factor here is that TPU is squishy so it can still squeeze into the Carta glass and has a nice seal. with PLA, it’s probably just a bit too tight of a fit - I’ll do some testing and throw up a profile once it fits right in PLA - it won’t be very comfy to use though as it’ll be hard plastic
