Modern Locomotive Shed for Traverser – Z Gauge (1:220)

Expand your railway depot with an architectural highlight! This detailed locomotive shed was specially developed for combination with the Märklin Traverser (Z Gauge). With its functional design and classic industrial look, it offers the perfect parking space for your locomotives and wagons.

Product Details & Highlights:

  • Precision Fit: The track distances are precisely matched to the Märklin traverser in Z gauge.
  • Modular Design: The model has several parking spaces with realistic swing gates that allow a view of your collection.
  • Detailed Surfaces: Fine corrugated iron structures on the roof as well as delicate window bracing and truss elements ensure an authentic appearance.
  • Light Incidence: The distinctive skylights on the roof allow great insight (and are excellent for later LED interior lighting!).
  • Scale: 1:220 (Z Gauge).
  • Technical Notes for Printing:

  • Optimized for: Resin printing (for maximum detail) or finely tuned FDM printing (0.1 mm layer height recommended).
  • Scope of Delivery: STL files for the main building, the gates, and the roof segments.
  • Assembly: Easy assembly of individual components after printing.
  • Tip : For ultimate realism, I recommend light weathering of the roof surfaces and inserting transparent film behind the window frames.

Hello. Do you think it's possible to integrate the catenaries into your superb composition? Here is my current setup, with the Märklin garages

Hello, thanks for the boost. Maybe the overhead line could be routed through slots above the doors, unfortunately I don't have an overhead line on my small layout

Replying to @F.W.Design :
Hello. I only have a BambuLab A1 Mini. Its build plate is limited to 180mm. I don't know how to properly use BambuLab and am unable to cut "Dachplatte 2 x.stl" in half to print it twice. Would you be able to integrate this feature into your model? Thank you in advance.
