Description

NINN-E is a prototype design for a low range "stealth security" pacifier. At $5 each, tags/locators are very affordable and small enough to hide in places kidnappers might not think to look. Connect the tag to your phone, and clip a NINN-E to your child before going in public for additional security.

You will need to disassemble a perfectly-good, brand new pacifier to build this. This is designed to fit the more oval shaped nipples.

Print in PETG and seal prior to use.  ***Sometime soon I will upload a single piece version in mold form that can be used for injecting food safe silicone for a safer alternative to hard plastic. ***

There are three printed components: Body, Retainer, and Cap

There are two non-printed components: The aforementioned nipple, and a RFID/locator tag. I used a 35mm round, 10 mm thick tag - the housing can fit just slightly wider, but if the tag is slim - you will need to print a spacer to keep the nipple in place. These tags or similar will fit: https://www.amazon.com/Certified-Tracker-Tukio-Bluetooth-Replaceable/dp/B0G25Q799S/ref=sxin_17_sbv_search_btf?adgrpid=186020660549&content-id=amzn1.sym.c8b39f81-ded8-4d75-80c2-6dfa03cbb699%3Aamzn1.sym.c8b39f81-ded8-4d75-80c2-6dfa03cbb699&cv_ct_cx=tracking%2Bdevices%2Btags&hvadid=779738587106&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9027802&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=10804539003718874402--&hvqmt=b&hvrand=10804539003718874402&hvtargid=kwd-1968334466351&hydadcr=18858_13356501_2338623&keywords=tracking%2Bdevices%2Btags&mcid=0b59204a98c83cdc9954591b9577b3a8&pd_rd_i=B0G25Q799S&pd_rd_r=79602442-88da-4719-9226-3b824ae48531&pd_rd_w=p1zt0&pd_rd_wg=QFizC&pf_rd_p=c8b39f81-ded8-4d75-80c2-6dfa03cbb699&pf_rd_r=8WV0DHNNDTQ679PW8ZWT&qid=1770258314&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sr=1-1-5190daf0-67e3-427c-bea6-c72c1df98776&th=1

ASSEMBLY:

Tear apart the old pacifier, retrieve the nipple and insert it through the top to the body. We want the round part of the nipple the baby uses on the outside of the Body and the part with a shelf inside. Insert the retainer into the silicon nipple, you cannot skip this step or the nipple can be easily removed which will cause a choking hazard. Tug on the nipple to make sure the retainer works, then add the air tag and screw on the cap.
