Description

Upgrade Your Sink: The Knurled Softsoap Dispenser

Overview: Tired of ugly disposable soap bottles cluttering up your bathroom or kitchen counter? These elegant 3D printed dispenser bodies allows you to take the high-quality pump mechanism from a standard "Softsoap" disposable bottle and give it a premium, permanent home. I have created models for both 27mm pumps and 31mm pumps.

Design Features:

  • Premium Texture: Features patterns that not only looks sophisticated but provides excellent grip, even with wet hands.
  • Perfect Fit: The neck threads are engineered to perfectly match the standard "Softsoap" brand screw-top pump.
  • Waste Reduction: Stop throwing away entire plastic pump mechanisms! Buy the large refill jugs and reuse this durable bottle and your existing pump for years.
  • Wide Base: Designed with a slightly wider footprint than the original cheap bottles to prevent tipping.

Instructions (How to Assemble):

  1. Buy a standard Softsoap hand soap bottle (or use one you are about to throw away).
  2. Unscrew the pump mechanism and rinse the tube.
  3. Fill your new 3D printed bottle with your favorite liquid soap (using a bulk refill jug saves money!).
  4. Screw the Softsoap pump into the 3D printed bottle. It should thread in smoothly.

A great design with awful overly complicated support settings that welded into the cap.. It's the inside of the lid it doesn't have to be pretty... Second time printed with default settings and pealed like an orange! So advice to the designers out there: don't overcomplicate stuff and don't tunnel into settings. Simple is always better!

Hey sorry you had issues getting the supports off. I tried the default support settings and it caused the supports to be fused in a few places to the lid which caused an issue when threading onto the bottle. These settings made it where the supports come off all in one piece and leave little to no marks on the model. I will try to tweak them to see if I can improve them. Thank you so much for the feedback. I marked small arrows in the spot where you might be able to get the supports off to save those lids.

Thank you for your quick reply and attempting to help! I tried pulling it from there and from other places with multiple different tools it was just completely fused. Could have been my priner or filament..It's not a problem I printed new lids and they work perfectly! Keep up the good work! But my advice for overcomplicating designs is still valid and from experience

if it wasn’t for this comment I would have not realized there was threading under there. I was quite confused on this lid until I read this. I printed in PETG and it took some work to get it off. lovely print, once I figured out the lid!

Good print, I started with only the two different tops to see if they fit with two different old fluid pumps, one black and one smaller white/silver. The large model fits with the old black fluid pump. The small model did not fit with any of the two old pumps. The test was in PLA. Now I'll print the large top and also the bottom in PETG black colour. Thank you, I'm looking forward to the end result!
