Description

Simple threaded spindle for popular cardboard TPU spool 55mm ID and 59mm width. It is threaded with M12x1.5 threads printed.

This reduces friction for TPU printing. Any filament will benefit, though. Be careful using this with PETG spools as those filament tend to unwind themselves with this low amount of friction. The roller bearings on the bottom of the SP2 are not good, and this hanging bar has too much friction due to its small diameter. It works for PETG PLA and ASA, but TPU consistently fails when ~400g is used from a spool. This spindle fixes the issue.

I will upload more spool sizes as needed. Next up are Anycubic, Jayo and Sunlu brand 1kg spools.

PRINT IN ASA for low friction, also so it can survive drying in the SP2. You can leave this in place while you dry your spools and print at the same time if you print in ASA.
