Door peephole cover (print in place)

Bill of Materials
Description
This is a print-in-place peephole cover designed for standard door viewers.
The model prints as a single piece - no assembly required. It uses an integrated hinge with 0.15 mm clearance, so once printed you only need to gently move the flap back and forth to “break it free” and make it fully functional. I designed this for my own door, so I can’t guarantee universal compatibility - please double-check the attached technical drawing before printing.
Key features:
- Print-in-place design (ready straight from the build plate).
- Integrated hinge (0.15 mm gap).
- No supports needed.
- Simple, clean look.
- Tested successfully on first try.
Tested on a Bambu Lab A1 using BambuLab Basic Black PLA, with a properly calibrated printer. A well-calibrated printer is important because of the tight hinge tolerance.
Technical dimensions are included in the drawing image.
Please verify dimensions before printing to ensure it fits your door peephole.
Additional installation note:
To install, simply unscrew your existing door peephole, place this cover underneath it, and screw the peephole back in. The peephole itself holds the cover in place - no glue or extra hardware required.
