Enchanted Rose – Decorative Display with Pedestal is born as a tribute to one of the most iconic images from fairy tales: "Beauty and the Beast", a rose suspended in time, protected and enhanced, a symbol of love, waiting, and transformation

The object is conceived as a complete decorative sculpture, composed of a classic pedestal and an open bell jar that frames the rose in the center, making it the absolute protagonist
It is not a simple bell jar, but a modular display system, designed to combine aesthetics, functionality, and freedom of customization

⚠️ The rose is not included: this allows you to freely choose whether to use a real or artificial rose, adapting it to your taste and the occasion

✨ Ideal for Valentine's Day

The Enchanted Rose is a perfect idea for Valentine's Day, because it encapsulates the deepest meaning of this occasion: a love that withstands time, that waits, that transforms without losing its beauty
Unlike a cut flower, this rose does not wilt: it remains as an enduring symbol of a special bond, of a promise, or of a feeling that continues to live day after day

Displayed on a shelf, a desk, or a bedside table, it becomes an object full of symbolic value, ideal as a romantic, scenic, and timeless gift, capable of evoking emotions even long after Valentine's Day

🧩 Modular structure and usage

The heart of the project is the central structure, designed to accommodate a rose of modest size (approx 20–25 cm)
The rose is inserted into a dedicated support, designed to keep it stable and upright, and can be accompanied by a small water vial in the case of a real rose

On the print bed, there are two alternative supports, with holes of different diameters, to adapt to stems of varying thickness. Once the most suitable support is chosen, the rose is simply inserted and then slid into the central hole of the pedestal, where it locks into place by interlocking

The base of the pedestal is deliberately spacious: it can house a string of micro LED lights to create a delicate and evocative lighting effect, or a small token or message, transforming the display into a true surprise gift

🔧 Assembly and interlocking system

The assembly was designed to be intuitive and clean, minimizing the use of glue and favoring interlocking solutions

The pedestal is divided into two parts to be printed separately: this choice allows for the elimination of supports, reducing print times and obtaining better surface quality on the upper part. The two sections are then joined with glue

The bell jar is locked to the pedestal using a fixing ring: the table top has an internal groove into which the ring, once glued to the bell jar, slides and interlocks, keeping the structure stable without visible elements

The upper part of the bell jar is completed by a decorative element (pin), which is to be glued in place and visually closes the structure

All steps, including assembly sequences and tolerances, are illustrated in the PDF assembly manual included in the project

🎨 Materials and customization

The model was printed in PLA, using a combination of ivory and black to evoke an elegant and timeless aesthetic
However, nothing prevents experimenting with other colors or finishes, to adapt the display to different styles or specific occasions

✨ Final note

Enchanted Rose is conceived as an object to build, personalize, and live with: a small fairy tale scene that takes shape layer by layer, transforming a simple 3D print into a gesture of love
