Hello

I'm sharing my latest project, a box for this fantastic soldering iron

My need was to have a container that could hold everything necessary for a repair, so I designed one that contains:

  • FNIRSI HS-02A soldering iron model
  • Tips
  • Soldering iron holder
  • Solder wire
  • Desoldering braid
  • Pneumatic solder sucker
  • Flux

Dimensions: (L) 19.5 cm x (W) 6.5 cm x (H) 4.3 cm

I deliberately omitted the power supply, because everyone has their own, the dimensions are not standard at all, so a box would not be very useful (in my opinion, of course)

The box prints in a single plate, no hardware is needed, it has small dimensions and is very practical. All the light-colored parts, visible in the photos, are removable, including the tip holder, as I believe it is convenient to be able to remove them from the box to have them all within reach

I did several print tests, I found what are the best settings for my printers and my filaments, naturally each printer behaves in its own way so it might be necessary to adjust something to get the best result

This is the pneumatic solder sucker I used for the project: Solder Desoldering Pump, Equipped with 2 Silicone Nozzles and 2 Suction Wires for Soldering, The Perfect Desoldering Tool for Removing Solder : Amazon.it: DIY

I hope it can be useful to you as it was useful to me

EDIT January 03, 2026: I uploaded a new print profile “All parts”, where I modified the box by increasing the tolerance in the closure clips. In the previous model they worked, but they were a “bit stiff”, thanks everyone for the feedback

I also added a new print profile for the HS-02B model tips, unfortunately I don't have this soldering iron, so I couldn't test the actual tolerance with real tips (they are smaller than the HS-02A model), can you give me some feedback? Thank you

A boost is always welcome ;-)

Hello everyone and happy printing
