A precisely fitting cover for the iCar Pro OBDII dongle from Vgate

I use the adapter permanently in the vehicle to monitor the status of my DPF with the app DPF Monitor for VAG

Since the OBD port is located in the footwell, the constantly blinking LEDs of the dongle bothered me quite a bit – especially in the dark

This cover provides a solution:

• covers the LEDs
• reduces light in the interior
• additionally protects the dongle from dust and impacts
• remains easily removable

Simply plug it on – done

🛠️ Printing Instructions

• 0.4 mm nozzle
• printable without supports
• PLA, PETG or TPU possible
• slight press fit → adjust flow minimally if necessary

I printed it in PLA Tough – robust and relatively temperature-resistant for the car
