Awesome design mate. I have tried all sorts of mounts for phone and Car Play devices. This is the most looking factory of the lot. Really pleased with it. Mine is the R59 Roadster - the dash vent is the same as the R56, although with the windscreen sloping at much more of an angle, getting the vent screws out was a bit of a job.

Awesome solution, just a little bit small in the front. What did you use to ensure a perfect seating in the space after removing the ventilation grill?

in my car I don’t needed to mount it other than pushing it tightly in. It sits snug in the dash and does not rattle or anything

it comes off via the top. just be careful there are two hidden screws facing the driver holding it in place

the one I was using is currently not available: https://amzn.eu/d/006aU4Gs… however other brands with 7 inch CarPlay screen should fit just as nicely.
