Description
After my last DJI Neo 2 crash, one of the transmitter antennas broke. Smart move… after the damage is done 😅
So I downloaded an STL protector from MakerWorld and printed a case for the transmitter. Unfortunately my homemade acrobatics led to more crashes. The printed case wasn’t doing its job because it kept falling off.
That’s why I decided to design my own version in SolidWorks — and after a huge number of attempts (many, many, many…), I finally succeeded!
Right after printing I did range tests and the case has basically zero impact on the signal range. Additionally it weighs only 3.5 grams and prints in about 25 minutes. The extra empty spaces allow for good heat dissipation, and after another crash everything fits so well now that literally nothing falls off anymore.
