Description
I bought a heated insert soldering iron (https://a.aliexpress.com/_Ez7OLmy), so naturally i printed a holder for my tips (https://makerworld.com/nl/models/197294-magnetic-heat-press-bit-holder#profileId-1838337).
So then i “had” to buy magnets 10x3 as well. (https://a.aliexpress.com/_EvOiodW).
And then i needed a station to hold both the iron, the tips as well as the heated inserts, so i made this!
Items i used:
- Spring: 1x ID 18mm OD 22mm pitch 11mm (to hold the iron)
- Bolt: 1x DIN912 M4x35 (to connect the two pieces)
- Nut: 1x DIN 934 M4 (to connect the two pieces)
- Nut: 1x DIN 934 M4 (to thermally isolate the iron from the PLA)
Printing advice:
- Add brim to the base to avoid warping
- Optionally decrease the layer height for your threaded part
