Description
My version of the F-Caw-F Rooster.
T-shirts and coffee mugs are already very funny, but I didn't find them ‘expressive’ enough! :D
And you change T-shirts often! ;)
The model was generated from an image file in MakerWorld using 'Image to 3D Model".
The original is 10 cm high, but I scaled the figure to about 15 cm in height. The printed figure in the pictures has this size.
You should experiment a bit with the orientation of the figure on the print bed. Upright, the print time for a single-color print is over 24 h.
By adjusting the orientation, with the beak just above the print bed, I reduced the print time to just over 15 h.
You should also experiment a bit with the supports.
@Bastlwastl recently published a good video on Youtube that might be helpful.
Especially removing the supports from the feathers on the back was a bit fiddly.
In the end, I painted the figure with acrylic paints.
