This is a remix of the original Eye Washing Station by ivity_creations, redesigned to improve printability, portability, and real-world usability in workshops and job-site environments.

🔧 Remix Improvements

  • Integrated threads for standard U.S. 16 oz water bottles
  • Eye pieces grafted directly into the body, allowing the model to print as one solid part
  • Prints cleanly with no supports
  • Optional color change at the eye-cup transition for visibility and orientation
  • Compact and lightweight for quick emergency access

Simply thread the adapter onto a bottle and it’s ready for use.

⚠️ Important Safety Notice

For safety reasons:

  • It is highly recommended to dip-coat this print in a food-safe sealant, applying multiple coats
  • Use only distilled water or an OTC eye-flushing solution
  • Sterilize between users with 99% isopropyl alcohol
  • This device should be used only in emergency situations when immediate eye irrigation is required

This is not a medical device and is intended solely as a temporary emergency solution.

While no printed solution is perfect, this design provides a portable alternative when a permanent eye-wash station is unavailable.

📦 Print & Use Notes

  • Approximate filament usage: ~75 g
  • Strong, lightweight, and easy to store
  • Ideal for workshops, garages, toolboxes, backpacks, and job sites

Having issues getting that first layer to flow and stick good? Follow these steps, it helps! ***If using an enclosed printer, be sure to remove the lid and leave door open to avoid heat creep***

If using multiple brands/types of filament, you will need to save each as a Custom Filament setting. Otherwise the settings will change when your colors switch.

You created a great foundational model. I am a knifemaker on the side and often have to flush my eyes in the shop quickly. This will be a great addition for those times.

I just have to figure out what I'm doing wrong because sometimes parts of it comes out stringy. I'm only using pla. eventually I move on to stronger material

do you have a recommendation for what to use to coat this to make it safe?

I personally would use a polyurethane spray.

This worked really well! I'm going to try to remix it for a tighter fit on my water bottle (kroger brand) and so it has lower flow (like 6 holes instead of the wide slot) so that a 16.9oz / 500 mL water bottle mixed with baby shampoo would go a lot further
