Description

Boost Me (for free)

Give This design a boost.

A PDC (polycrystalline diamond compact) bit is used in oil, gas, and geothermal drilling to efficiently cut through rock using fixed diamond cutters.

This PDC bit–inspired can Koozie is designed to securely hold multiple common beer and beverage can sizes in one compact, everyday-carry–style sleeve.

I added Plates for these variations:

  • Slim cans, Red bull, Michelob ultra: 58 mm
  • Coors Light 12 oz cans only: 63.5 mm
  • Standard 12 oz cans, and 16oz monster energy drinks: 66.8 mm

Design highlights:

  • PDC bit–inspired profile
  • Compact, minimalist design
  • Easy to print
  • Optimized wall thickness for strength without bulk

Printing recommendations:

  • Print a test ring first to make sure the model you want will be the correct size for the drinks you want to hold. This will save you time and filament.

If you have a relative in the oil and gas field this will be a cool gift they can enjoy.
